Team Member Responsibilities
- Maintaining a visible and professional deterrent presence
- Conducting structured patrols and inspections
- Addressing trespassing, theft, disorderly conduct, and other criminal behavior
- Professional interaction with clients and the public
- Clear, accurate, and legally sound written reporting
- Working as part of a team and maintaining accountability while on assignment

Minimum Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to obtain Contract Security License
Compensation
Contract Based $23.00 to $38.00 per hour
The average security wage in Maine is approximately $21.00 per hour. MJS offers a higher starting rate because we expect a higher standard of professionalism, accountability, and performance from every member of our team.
