MJS Security Services provides professional and reliable security solutions throughout the State of Maine. Our operations are built around professionalism, accountability, visibility, preparedness, and high operational standards.
Our team provides a strong, professional presence backed by proactive patrols, clear communication, detailed reporting, and hands-on leadership. Whether protecting a business, property, event, or contracted location, our focus is on providing dependable security services tailored to the needs of each client.
MJS Security Services offers a growing range of services, including armed security, mobile patrol, access control, traffic and parking enforcement, event security, contracted security operations, and specialized K9 services.
We believe professional security requires more than simply placing someone at a post. It requires the right people, proper training, accountability, good judgment, and a commitment to doing the job correctly. Those principles remain at the center of everything we do.
Introducing MJS K9 Services
As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our K9 operations with MJS K9 Services, providing professional training and development exclusively for Security K9s and K9 handlers.
Our training philosophy is based on developing both ends of the leash. A capable Security K9 requires a knowledgeable, confident, and disciplined handler. Our programs are designed to develop the working dog while giving handlers the knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively work with, control, and continue developing their K9 partner.
Our Security K9 training programs focus on developing confident, controlled, reliable, and operationally capable working dogs. Training may include obedience and control, environmental conditioning, handler protection, scenario-based exercises, vehicle-based operations, public exposure, patrol applications, and operational readiness.
MJS K9 Services also provides dedicated K9 handler training and development for new and developing security K9 handlers. Handler courses focus on K9 handling, communication, control, working-dog behavior, deployment considerations, scenario-based operations, and developing a strong working relationship between handler and K9.
Our goal is not simply to train a working dog. We believe a successful K9 program requires a capable dog and a capable handler working together as one dependable team.
From initial K9 development to continued handler education, MJS K9 Services is committed to developing professional, controlled, and dependable Security K9 teams prepared for real-world operations.
